The workflow

- Run transcription, then correct the text while listening to difficult passages.
- Choose TXT for plain text, or SRT or VTT to retain timings.
Example
For a cooking demo, list ingredient names before transcribing. A wrong word can change the instructions. Remove false starts from a working transcript, but keep a faithful copy if you also need subtitles.
Check the result
- Replay negatives, numbers and proper nouns.
- Compare a passage at the beginning and end to detect timing drift.
- Keep the source file for later corrections.
